Universal Studios Japan Countdown
Universal Studios is the most popular theme park located in Osaka. Umeda sky building Countdown
It is probably the most unique way to enjoy the countdown in the height of about 173 meters above the ground at Umeda sky building. Records of the last few years lead to the expectation of more than 10000 attendees at New Year Eve this year. Among light, sound and fireworks, there is a laser show at the highest floor of the building for a small number of people. Around 11:00 pm, the place becomes crowded and you may need to line up to wait. When the time shown on an electronic display board comes to zero, the show of lighting and laser will start brightly above the night view of Osaka. Laser rays of mainly green from pillars and walls around will illuminate the main wall with various shapes of line, curve and wave. Over the ocean of dazzling lights, the laser show seems to be the galaxy in the middle of the sky full of stars.
